Anyone can design, even a kitten.
Set as a children's book for adults, Anyone can design is a fun, slightly sweary book that follows the life of Fliss, a kitten who wants to design her way to Mars. And along the way, you might just pick up a few things about design, too.
As editor, I worked alongside Amid Moradganjeh, a "designer" at Velvet (previously IDEO, Google among others) to both bring the story to life and make sure that the practical exercises — it includes a guide on how to run an 86 minute design sprint — were easy to follow.
In my day-to-day work, I tread a fine line between design and writing anyway. So this project was a lot of fun for me.
